My middle name is casual! I love sweats and T's and then capris are my very favorite..with pockets. I love my crocs and my snow boots..and warm slippers. I have been known to stay in my jammies all day once in awhile too..a real vacation from a bra day:)

I always used to wear business suits, and high heels too. And of course a matching bag. Where I work now, people dress in more comfortable clothes, so I wear slacks and flat shoes. It's Heaven..! *heh*

After a life at the university, it was very difficult to have anything to wear at home. I had work clothes, a couple of pair of jeans and a couple of sweaters. In the last six years, that has changed. I live now on the top of a mountain and I might not leave home to go "down the slope" for a week or more. Don't need to. But it has to be a constant effort on my part not to just wear sweats or PJ's or go around the house with no makeup and my hair in a pony tail. But I try, cause it just makes me feel better. And, I think I am more creative and productive when I am not just slouching around. Plus, who knows when the UPS man is going to show up???

During the cold months, I put on long underwear, a turtleneck and sweats...a jacket, hat, scarf or gater if it is really cold and double mittens. If I am teaching my class, going to chorus or doing something during the day...it's jeans, a turtleneck, sweater or sweatshirt and a cozy vest. If I'm not going anywhere, I live in my barn clothes all day and take a shower after evening chores and get right into my PJs. Being comfortable is very important. I'm retired...what the heck.....

Oh, you don't want to see me now! Braless, of course, with a wife beater tshirt, leggings, house shoes and robe. It is a sad scary sight.

Most off time at the farm is spent wearing anything with pockets. One for camera and one for treasures I find. If it's wet I wear rubber boots outside, if not, flip flops.

I suppose it depends on the weather - its summer here in Melbourne at the moment so some days its shorts andd tshirt round the house, if its cooler its could be cotton cargo pants and a tshirt. Shoes tend to be non existent. Round the house you'll see me in bare feet,thongs/flip flops or sandals.
Like you after years of uniforms, skirts and heels, unless its going to the city or a restaurant its comfort all the way.

Yes, Sunny, I have noticed that kind of dress in different places that I've been. Mostly it's the Ladies that wear these pants and blouse's that look like PJ's. They also look as if they just got out of bed! Seems to me that people out there just don't care what they wear or what they look like.

As for me? Yes, I do care what I look like, but not to the point that I want to impress anyone when just doing general run around.

My "uniform" has changed, also as the years have passed. At one time, while working as a Machinist for 30 yrs., I had to wear dungarees or Dickee's Pants with a scale in my breast pocket, safety shoes, and safety glass's. Now, I wear a green shirt, black pants, and black shoes. My everyday Uniform to work as a cook.

Like you Sunny, when I was working it was suits and heels every day. But now I live in jeans. Right now I'm wearing jeans, tee shirt and flip flops. I know it winter but I don't wear real shoes unless I go outside. If I'm going to Walmart I wear jeans, a nice top or tee and either boots with the jeans tucked in or my platform clogs (small platform).

Yep, for me it's sweaters/sweatshirts and the most comfortable pants I can find. Since I've been retired for ten years, I rarely get "dressed up" like I did before. I do my shopping these days at the Goodwill and I'm always amazed at what great stuff I find. So I keep a pretty good supply of pants and sweaters. Almost forgotten what it was like to "dress up" for work everyday!! Hope your week is going well, Sunny!

Oh, yes, I've gotten very casual in my attire since I retired. Around home I mostly wear sweatpants and a t-shirt, but will put on jeans when I go someplace. If I have to pull out dress-up clothes for some special event I have a hard time putting it all together. Fortunately for me Fairbanks is a very casual sort of place and you can wear your jeans just about anywhere. I've got to go along with you on the jammy bottoms and oozing midriff bit--not a good look even on a young body.

I'm retired as well, and I find these days I wear whatever is handy. Colder days it's old, well worn sweat suits. Warmer days, old, ragged-out jeans or shorts and a shirt befitting the temps. No need dressing up to do laundry, houswork, dishes or taking care of the 'girls' (Doxies).

We could be twins. I am the queen of comfort. Once I retired I found comfort clothes and have never looked back. 30 years of wearing a white uniform went out the window. At one time I had more nurse's uniforms than regular clothes. I love jeans and sweatshirts now - not the sloppy grunge look, but the easy breezy casual.

First off, be careful how you dress in Walmart! There are people secretly taking your picture with their cell phones and posting them on that website, I forgot what it is right now, but it is specifically for the odd looking people who shop at Walmart. It is not sponsored by Walmart, of course!

If I know I'm not going out anymore for the evening, off comes the bra, I throw on jogging pants and an old sweater that the zipper is broken at the neckline, socks and slippers. That's how I spell RELIEF! Aaahhh.....
