Now, many years later, my reading glasses don&amp;#39;t even last for the two years before I&amp;#39;m due another eye exam. I solved the problem by tying them round my neck with one (many) of those fancy cords. I know this looks daggy but when I was teaching I needed them on and off all the time. I didn&amp;#39;t need them to see the children but when I looked over their shoulder to check their work I needed them. I would always be squashing them when I was carrying books or hugging a kid. I was happy the day I could get a pair to keep on my face. They are graduated in three steps, one for reading, one for computer and one for distance.
