With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought it might be fun to trip down memory lane and share your very first kiss. It's funny but I remember mine clearly! It was my ninth birthday, and my Grandmother had a party for me at her house, in fact it was the old mill house that I was born in. It had several out buildings, including an outhouse. There were seven of my school friends and myself and we were playing hide and seek. I thought no one would find me in the outhouse, so that's where I hid! Well, so much for that idea...my friend, Jeffrey found me and before I could run away, he planted a smooch...and then he ran away!
Okay, time to fess up...let's hear about your first kiss.

Lord, I realize I don't remember the first one. I know it was in high school, and I THINK it was my boyfriend Neil, but I'm just not sure.
Oh, Sunny, I can't remember my last kiss, let alone the first one! I love your story! Nothing like a first kiss in the outhouse! Fun post for the day! Happy Valentine and I hope you get many lovely kisses for the day! Enjoy the weekend!

I don't remember either Sunny--but I suppose it was with my boyfriend Ralph. We dated all through high school --but I didn't marry him...
Happy Valentines Day.
Hugs,
Betsy
Gosh, I don't remember either, so it couldn't have been too memorable, certainly nothing like a kiss in the outhouse.
I think I might have been a tad younger. I remember a game of 'kiss chase' that went horribly wrong when an over-exuberant girl scared me to death with a huge smacker on the lips. I never expected to get caught!
It's soooo sweet!Hey, I didn't know this blog, it's adorable!Congrats! :)
Well, my first kiss ...I was 7 years old and we got a school play about Snow white and 7 dwarfs.I was snow white princess and a friend was the prince, of course he gave me a little kiss during the preparations day, and I blushed and he blushed as well!Just adorable memories! :)
ahhh and we are learning a lot about traditions here.I mean about Valentine's day ( in Brazil it is celebrate in June). So, yesterday in my daughter's school many boys brought red roses to give for the girls,She got some roses and she was very happy! We didn't know about this tradition, it's lovely!

I had to stop and think about this one, Sunny. I'm not quite sure, but I think it was back in the 6th or 7th Grade that I had my first "smooch". Nothing ever became of it. Just something to try at a very young age.
It was the son of distant family friends, after only seeing him once and our families exchanging school photos every year, I daydreamed of him all through grade and Jr Hi school. First kiss was at 13, on a chaperoned family excursion to Coney Island in Cincinnati. Remained friends through families, but nothing more.
Don't know where my comment went. I do remember my first kiss in detail. I did a long post on it but will spare you. I was ten years old and it was my boyfriend Danny. First one was yucky, the second reallllly nice.
Oh my, I must have been working abroad and I know I hated the taste of him. He had a very funny taste, which put me off kissing for a while...
I remember mine. I was 5 years old and his name was Robert.
He was showing me his tree house, kissed me and asked if I would like to live there with him. :-)
Don't remember.......must not have been too important/ha or I am too old!!!!!/ha
I enjoyed looking over your blog

Hi Sunny, Oh I was about 15, and on a hay ride and holding hands with a cute guy and he just leaned over and kissed me..he had bad breath..he was a very nice boy..he died in 1972 in a tragic accident..sad as he was an only child:)
I'm sure I left a comment. About my first kiss in the disused dairy. I was about 10.
Sunny, I always enjoy reading your posts on this blog. Your writing is very good! I've got a Sunshine Award for you on my blog.
I don't remember either, but it was probably when I was 5 and he was 4. I was a "cougar" back then! He was my very first boyfriend!
Hi
I have spent a delightful 20minutes reading your blog, it was so entertaining! First kiss? Can't remember but if I had my way it would have been Laurie Shepherd when I was about 8, I so loved him.
Fair hair and freckled face, he lived just round the corner from my street in a small seaside town in South Wales. He was part of our gang.. and told the most amazing stories and always said he wanted to be an author. When I was 22 and had left home and married, I heard the sad news that he had killed himself, I was so teary all day.
Look how you have unlocked memories of mine...
Hope to read some more of your writings.
Chris
PS Blog hopped to you from some one in Magpie Tales and I am so glad I did!
